Favorite Reads

Hey guys! Just thought I'd jump on and share my favorite reads. Most are just light reads for entertainment. I love to read but I'm bad at devoting the time to for it, so my list isn't very long. I'm also bad at picking out good page-turning books. I usually only read a book if it's from a recommendation, so please share your favorites with me! Hope you enjoy!

1. Jesus Calling daily devotional
I heard about this devotional from one of my fav bloggers Jessi Afshin. No matter how busy you are, you can absolutely make time in your day for this book. All the messages are short but packed with wisdom from God's word to help you through your day and draw you closer to God.
Get this devotional HERE (It also comes in paperback)

2. The Newsette daily email
I've talked about this before but I love getting this daily email! In their words, this is what it is: "It's the stylish way to stay in the know on the go. The Newsette covers trending topics, style news, pop culture highlights, and relevant editorial content, with zero sad or hard-hitting subjects allowed. Our goal is to inspire, motivate, and inform you before your first cup of coffee."

3. People Magazine & House Beautiful Magazine
Gotta stay up on the gossip and gorgeous home decor.

4. Magnolia Magazine
Will Chip and Jo ever do anything that I don't like? I love this quarterly magazine, and I LOVE the Gaines' outlook on life. They are seriously so inspiring. No matter how bad your day is, you still have things to be thankful for. Life is about thriving, not just surviving. It's packed with inspirational stories, gorgeous Joanna-style decor, amazing recipes, and tons more.

5. Magnolia Story
It's Chip and Jo's life story starting with how they met and takes you through everything that led them to where they are today. Need I say more?
Find it HERE

6. Stranger In The House
I got this to take on a plane ride to Vegas after reading one of Caitlin Covington's book reviews. She does this fairly often and has great picks! It was a page turner for sure. It was so hard for me not to finish it while I was in Vegas so I could save the rest for the plane ride home. The last few chapters literally had my jaw dropping. You think you can predict how it's going to end but NO.
Order it HERE (it wasn't in the store last time I looked for it)
